The Bakehouse in Port Isaac is a delightful, cosy retreat for two where you can embrace life on the North Cornish coast.
This charming traditional Fisherman's cottage sleeps two guests in one bedroom retaining most of its original features including beamed ceilings and thick Cornish stone walls.
Tucked away in Middle Street just steps from the harbour it is a perfect romantic getaway from which to roam around north Cornwall's stunning coastline.
This cottage retreat has been beautifully modernised throughout with white washed walls & soft lemon and grey tones throughout.
Open the front door and you'll find yourself immediately in the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. where you'll find the gorgeous living area, complete with comfy velvet sofa, inglenook fireplace with a lovely wood burner, exposed beams and a flat screen TV with Freeview.
There's a space saving dining table for you to eat your fresh caught fish supper from the fish merchants by the harbour.
The cute kitchen has a two ring electric hob, full size oven, microwave and under the counter fridge with freezer compartment with everything you need close to hand.
Upstairs you will find a comfortable double bedroom decorated in calming tones with ready made up white crisp cotton bedding and towels. There’s an adjacent shower room with a heated towel rail to keep your towels warm and cosy.
Nestled in the iconic village of Port Isaac famous for the filming of Doc Martin and Fishermans Friends movies The Bakehouse is ideally situated to explore and sample the filming locations.
Head to Port Gaverne for coasteering, kayaking, in rugged caves, paddleboarding or swimming in this pretty sheltered cove. Venture slightly further afield to discover more of North Cornwall's beautiful beaches including; Polzeath for excellent surfing and body boarding, nearby Daymer Bay for wind and kite surfing or a stroll around St Enodoc Golf Course to find the Church hidden in the sand dunes and of course.
A little further on lies Rock on the Camel Estuary, a hub for to sailing, waterskiing, stand up paddleboarding and wakeboarding, as well as the foot ferry across to explore Padstow harbour.
With so much on your doorstep you have the choice to get as active as you like or simply enjoy the peace and quiet, relax and take it easy together.
Please note there is No parking with The Bakehouse. there are two public pay and display car parks in the village. Small dogs are welcome.
