Before the collapse of the original building in the 1970s, White House Cottage on Roscarrock Hill was believed to be the oldest cottage in Port Isaac, dating back to the late 1500s.

Back in the days before mains water, every village throughout the UK would have had access to a local pump or well. One of Port Isaac's is outside one of our historic cottages, aptly named The Pump.
